Sailing date: May 2010 Pros: Entertainment, All of the Staff, Food, Activities, Religious Values displayed by the crew, and the Ship itself. Cons: Only thing I wish would happen is the friendly active enforcment of ship rules (i.e. smoking areas, dress codes, final departure) The experience was excellent. I cannot wait to go again. Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food Two phenomenal waiters, Harvy and Jose. Knew our names by heart at a table of 12! Remembered our drinks without asking. Service with a smile, and a few jokes! Just Great!!! They really made our week!!!!!! Stateroom Quality Very clean! Our stateroom attendant was just outstanding!! Cons: we got nothing for losing our first day. Our trip did not start well because we could not board until 7:30, most people it was after 9:00. we did not sail until midnight and we did not even get a free drink, or any type of compensation for our loss. Then we had to go as fast as the ship could to get to bermuda on time, so it was windy, more so then it would have been if we would have left on time. Our waiter was the high light of the trip, he was great. On the flip side, when we had breakfast in the dinning room the waiters were not helpful or friendly. On the way home we did express check out--highly recommend this, it worked out great. But we were told we would be getting off the ship at 9. The tv showed 7:30, since you can not call the front desk from your room, I had to go to the front desk at 11:30 pm on the last night. There were a lot a people with the same question I had, what time do we get off. We were told then that we would be getting in 1 hour early and would need to get off at 7:45, so again we lost 1 hour, we were going to have breakfast at 8 before getting off. I do love cruising, but this trip was a disappointment. All the problems were RC's because it was their employee that caused the ship to leave late, something should have been done for the customers. We had a D1 cabin the first trip and the other two were E1 rear corner aft cabins. We loved the service, the food was above average, lots of great entertainment. Where else do you see an ice show on the sea? The new bedding is wonderful and wow...these addicting cookies in the cafe promenade. Ship Details: Ship Quality very clean and the crew did great jobs with protecting us from germs Dining/Food Stateroom Quality great new bedding. We love the rear aft cabins. We love sitting on the balcony and having our breakfast. Ship Staff Quality All of our stateroom attendants were excellent., Our wait staff is fantastic. Our hats off to Petersen and to Lucito!!! Entertainment & Activities Many famous entertainers doing shows through out the cruise. Children's Programs Our first cruise was with a very large group that did have 14 or so younger guests that did participate in the childrens programs and seemed to enjoy them thoroughly. 9 out of 9 people found this review helpful. Neither happened. Very crowded. Our excursion here was a big rush. We teamed up with another cruise ship group which was on a different departure time. We started late and then rushed the entire time. We wanted to snorkle and enjoy the reef but there was no time. Don't Miss: Shopping was the only thing that saved this port. George Town, Grand Cayman Again becasue it was not the day we were suppose to be here our excusion was changed. Our tickets issued the day before by the ship had a time of 9:30 departure. We got to the tender location and were told the the excursion left a hour earlier. Another big dissappointment!!! 18 out of 31 people found this review helpful.
